What Are Channels?
Channels represent all sales channels in Flxpoint, whether those be B2B (reseller channels) or B2C (sales channels).
How Are Channels Used?
- Linking and syncing product data, pricing, quantity, and status from listing variants
- Importing new sales orders
- Syncing tracking information when received from sources
B2B Reseller Portal/Management
The B2B Reseller Portal enables a Flxpoint user to have resellers connect in as a channel. For more information on how this works, see Reseller Management.
Integrations
Every Channel can have integrations to connect various operations. Some of the most common operations are:
- Link Listings: shares the same integration details as Sync Listings and links Flxpoint listings to an external channel.
- Sync Listings: syncs latest price, quantity, and status to a channel
- Publish Listings: pushes latest product data, price, quantity, and status to a channel
- Get Orders: receives new sales orders from a channel
- Sync Orders: pushes latest shipments and tracking information to a channel
For more information about configuring Integrations, see Integrating a Channel.
Channel-Specific Pricing and Quantity
Channel-specific pricing and quantity rules can be configured for each channel.
For information on how to configure this, see Channel Pricing & Quantity.
Shipping Mappings
Channel shipping mappings represent eligible shipping options a channel has and maps them to a shipping policy.
For more information about configuring channel shipping mappings, and how these mappings are used, see Shipping Management
