Creating a Shipment Manually

There may be instances where it is necessary to create a shipment manually rather than having it processed automatically. Two common use cases are:

  1. Manually Processing an Order – The shipment was processed with the source, so it won’t automatically be pulled into Flxpoint.
  2. Suppressing Tracking – The tracking is updated in Flxpoint but not sent to the channel to avoid errors.

New Feature: Suppress Shipments in Bulk

What’s New?

Flxpoint now supports bulk suppression of shipments when clearing shipment errors.

Why This Matters?

  • Ideal for bundle products listed on channels like Shopify that expect a single shipment for bundled items.
  • Without suppression, Flxpoint attempts to sync shipments for all components of a bundle, leading to errors.
  • Previously, users had to manually suppress each shipment, which was time-consuming for high-order volumes.

What’s improved?

  • When clearing shipment errors in bulk, users can now suppress those shipments in bulk at the same time.
  • This reduces manual steps, minimizes repeated sync errors, and keeps focus on true shipment issues instead of bundle-related sync errors.

Adding Shipment Details

When viewing the order, scroll down to the Fulfillment section and click Add Shipment.

Under Add Shipment, you'll need to enter the following information:

  • FR/FO # – Select from the dropdown.
  • Suppressed Status – Suppress the tracking to prevent syncing shipment information back to the channel order. (Note: Bulk suppression is available for clearing error, see above.)
  • Shipped at Date – Required.
  • Tracking # – Required.
  • Shipping Cost – Optional.
  • Carrier – Optional.
  • Method – Optional.
  • Notate Quantities – Indicate the quantities of the SKUs included in the shipment.
  • Notes – Add internal notes if needed.

Bulk Suppression Workflow

  1. Navigate to the Orders Page – Go to the Orders section, where shipments with errors are listed.
  2. Select Shipments with Errors – Use filters to select shipments that need suppression.
  3. Clear Errors in Bulk – Choose the Clear Errors option.
  4. Enable Suppression – Select the checkbox to suppress shipments while clearing errors.
  5. Confirm Changes – Submit the update to complete the bulk suppression process.

Note: This is especially useful for bundles where component shipments cause repeated sync errors on channels like Shopify.

Fulfillment Statuses

  • If you're unable to include all items in a single shipment, the order status will be marked as Partially Shipped.
  • Once you're ready to add the remaining shipment details, create another shipment with the new tracking number.
  • When the PO/FR quantity and the PO/FR shipped quantity match, the order will be updated to Fully Shipped.
