The Source Inventory houses inventory data from your source(s). Each SKU in the Source Inventory represents an item from your sources(s) that can be fulfilled. For every item, Source Inventory houses rich product content, quantity, and pricing data.

Source Inventory is used to:
- Reflect current data from your source(s)
- Leverage in creating your Product Catalog
- Serve as a fulfillment item that can be sent to your source via a fulfillment request/fulfillment orders while routing orders
- Provide pricing and quantity information for your Product Catalog
